Compatibility
Designed to work within the finishing stack: Grain Filler → Sealer → Colour (optional) → Clear Coat. Part of our water based guitar finish range, it applies over a properly cured sealer, compatible dyes/stains, and levelled, grain-filled surfaces. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and lightly scuffed before clear coating.
Application
Directions: Stir well before use. Apply thin coats for best levelling and to reduce runs. Let dry 2–4 hours between coats. Apply 3–4 coats, and sand lightly between coats to keep the matt lacquer even and smooth. Finish with a final unsanded coat to preserve the matt look.
