Usage
Final guitar top coat (Step 4) to protect the finish and deliver a durable, high gloss result. This clear gloss lacquer top coat is designed for DIY guitar kit finishing over a properly sealed surface to highlight wood grain and enhance stained or dyed finishes. Part of our water based guitar finish range.
Application
- Surface prep: Apply to a clean, dry, fully sanded and properly sealed surface.
- Stir well. Apply thin coats. Brush or spray; spraying recommended for the smoothest results.
- Build gloss with multiple thin layers.
- Sanding between coats: Light sanding to improve levelling and intercoat adhesion; avoid sanding through edges. Do not sand the final coat to maximise gloss clarity.
- Cure: Allow to cure fully before final polishing/buffing.

Notes
- Safety & storage: Non-toxic formula. Store sealed between 5–30°C (41–86°F), away from heat and sunlight.
