Preparation and Application

  • For best results, apply using a spray.
  • Apply thin layers to avoid drips and ensure even coverage.
  • Allow 12 to 24 hours drying time between coats.

Application Notes

If you prefer to spray and do not have a spray gun, a rechargeable Preval-type spray can be used to load the white varnish for your guitar and spray the corps; a unit can spray up to 500 mL before needing to be recharged.

Finishing Tip

When applying white matt guitar lacquer, build up multiple thin coats rather than one heavy coat to achieve a more uniform white matte appearance and avoid runs.
