Usage

This matt water based varnish is the final protective topcoat to apply once your colour and grain work is complete, sealing and protecting the wood with a soft, low-sheen surface.

Preparation And Application

  • Best applied by spray.
  • Apply thin layers to avoid drips and ensure homogeneous coverage.
  • Allow 12–24 hours drying time between coats.

Spraying Option

If you prefer spraying your water based matt varnish and do not have a spray gun, you can use a rechargeable Preval-style sprayer to load the lacquer and spray the guitar body. Such sprayers can cover up to approximately 500 mL before needing a recharge. Available with fast UK delivery from our UK warehouse.
