This clear nitrocellulose sealer spray seals the pores and acts as the first coat in guitar kit finishing (unless you are using grain filler). Use this clear sanding sealer for guitar before applying colour lacquer such as amber or butterscotch.
With dye/tint: stain first and then seal. With dye, a waterbase sealer is preferred over a nitro one.
Seal the wood before your top coat such as clear varnish lacquer or shellac. As part of a full nitrocellulose guitar finish, it preserves the natural colour and mesh of the wood and revitalises the grain.
