Application
- Recommended tools: Brush, sponge, or cloth.
- Dissolving in water: Use hot (not boiling) water. Pour water into a clean glass, plastic (HDPE), or ceramic container first, then gradually add the bronze pigment powder whilst stirring. Stir occasionally for 10–15 minutes until fully dissolved. Allow to cool before applying.
- Dissolving in solvents: Use denatured alcohol, acetone, or petroleum spirits. Add solvent to a suitable container first, then slowly add pigment whilst stirring. Stir occasionally for 30–60 minutes until fully dissolved. Strain before adding to lacquer or spray equipment.
- Application: Apply the mixed stain directly onto wood using a sponge, cloth, or brush.
