Usage
Applied after the primer/sealer coat to provide the design colour and an additional protective layer for the guitar body, granting a durable finish. The Solid Classic Fender Vintage White is a yellow‑cream opaque colour typically applied over a white base.
Compatibility
Compatible with nitrocellulose primer, nitrocellulose varnish, grain filler, and polish pastes.
Preparation & Application
- Shake the can vigorously for 2 to 5 minutes before use.
- Apply thin coats to avoid drips and ensure homogeneous coverage.
- Spray in a low-humidity environment with a uniform motion at approximately 20 cm distance.
- Wait 12 to 24 hours between coats; optionally sand slightly between coats.
- Apply a primer and sand to 400 grit before spraying colour.
- Nitrocellulose is toxic; use protection (goggles, mask, gloves) and apply outdoors or in a ventilated area.
