Nitrocellulose Spray, Metallic Effect Pearly — 400 mL guitar lacquer

400 mL nitrocellulose lacquer spray for guitar finishing, available in more than 40 colors. Spray color allows easy application without a spray gun to achieve a professional finish with Nitorlack, developed specifically to paint guitars. Metallic Pearly is a colorless lacquer that adds a fine, smooth pearlescent effect over any color.

Pearly metallic guitar lacquer that adds a fine, smooth pearlescent shimmer over any base colour. This colourless pearl metallic nitrocellulose coat is applied after the primer/sealer to refine the visual design and add an extra protective layer for a durable finish. Usage

Use this pearly nitro finish after the primer/sealer coat to enhance your colour and protect the surface. Being colourless, it develops a delicate pearlescent effect when sprayed over any shade, making it an ideal top-up to your nitrocellulose guitar finish build.

Compatibility

Compatible with our nitrocellulose primer, nitrocellulose varnish, grain filler, and polish pastes.

Preparation & Application

  • Shake the can vigorously for 2 to 5 minutes before use.
  • Apply thin layers to avoid drips and ensure homogeneous coverage.
  • Work in an environment with low humidity.
  • Spray with a uniform movement from approximately 20 cm distance.
  • Wait 12 to 24 hours between coats; sanding lightly between coats is recommended.
  • Apply a primer and sand to 400 grit before spraying.

Notes

This metallic guitar paint is toxic; use appropriate protection (goggles, mask, and gloves) and apply outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
