Nitrocellulose color lacquer in Blue Translucid for decorative color and added protection in finishing workflows.
Usage
The nitrocellulose color lacquer is applied after the primer/sealer coat. It adds a decorative color layer and additional protection, providing a durable finish. The Blue Translucid is a semi-translucent blue lacquer that reveals and highlights the wood grain.
Compatibility
Compatible with nitrocellulose primer, nitrocellulose varnish, grain filler, and polish pastes.
Preparation & Application
- Shake vigorously for 2–5 minutes before use.
- Apply thin coats to avoid drips and achieve homogeneous coverage.
- Spray in a low-humidity environment with a uniform movement at approximately 20 cm distance.
- Wait 12–24 hours between coats; lightly sand between coats if desired.
- Apply a primer and sand to 400 grit before spraying.
Safety
Nitrocellulose is toxic; use protection (goggles, mask, gloves) and apply outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
