Translucent orange spray paint in a 400ml can, this orange guitar lacquer is applied after the primer/sealer coat to add rich colour and an extra protective layer for a durable finish. Part of our wider guitar finishing range, dispatched from our UK warehouse.
Usage
This guitar lacquer spray goes on after the primer/sealer coat. It delivers warm translucent orange colour and builds an additional protective layer for a long-lasting result.
Application
- Shake vigorously for 2–5 minutes before use.
- Apply thin coats from approximately 20 cm with a uniform movement to avoid drips.
- Work in a low-humidity environment.
- Wait 12–24 hours between coats; optionally sand lightly between coats.
- Apply a primer and sand to around 400 grit before colour coats.
Compatibility
This orange lacquer is compatible with our nitrocellulose guitar finish primers, lacquers and varnish, as well as our grain filler and guitar polishing products.

- Electric guitar neck (natural finish): 1 spray nitrocellulose finishing product (gloss or matte).
- Electric guitar body: 1 spray primer, 1 spray colour lacquer, and 1 finishing spray (gloss or matte).
- Classical or acoustic kit (body and neck): 1 base spray and 2 finishing sprays (gloss or matte).
- Ukulele kit: 1 to 2 finishing sprays (gloss or matte).
