Preparation And Application
- Recommended tools: sandpaper (~P400) for levelling, a flexible scraper (e.g. old credit card), and a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Apply a thin coat and work across the grain to pack pores.
- Allow to dry, then level-sand so the mahogany wood filler remains only in the pores; repeat if the wood is very porous.
- Optional: can be tinted with compatible dyes; avoid over-mixing many colours as this can darken the tone.
