Guitar Build Levels and Challenges

This left handed Stratocaster style kit is one of the easiest to build, suitable for beginner builders in the UK. Painting the ash corps is considered intermediate: it typically requires at least two coats of grain filler for a smooth finish, whilst the maple manche needs no filler. Assembly is straightforward thanks to the bolt-on manche with no inclination; installing the tremolo chevalet requires a few extra steps, and the solderless wiring system keeps electronics simple. Setup is accessible: the tremolo chevalet allows individual string action and intonation adjustments, and the flat manche setup simplifies the process. Advanced builders may fine-tune the integrated sillet, though it’s generally ready to play.
