Guitar Build Levels and Challenges
The single cut junior guitar kit is ideal for intermediate builders, offering a rewarding experience across painting, assembly, and setup. The mahogany body, being only slightly porous, requires minimal grain filler compared to ash, making it easier to achieve a smooth, professional finish, while the neck in mahogany will also benefit from light filling. Assembly is straightforward thanks to the set-in neck without inclination; although careful attention is needed when checking the initial string action, as the glued neck cannot be repositioned. Our solderless wiring system and pre-drilled bridge holes further simplify the process, though verifying the scale length is still recommended for precision. The soft mahogany wood ensures hassle-free pre-drilling and screwing. For playability, the wrap-around bridge allows for overall string height and individual intonation adjustments, and while it lacks fine-tuning for each string like a tremolo system, the nut can be easily customized, and the lack of neck inclination simplifies the initial setup.
