Compatible with nitrocellulose, polyurethane, and waterbased finishing systems, as well as grain filler. Use only with transparent finishes: natural grain filler, clear sealer, transparent colour lacquer, and clear varnish.
This plum mahogany guitar dye is diluted in a solvent such as water or white spirit for direct application on wood. If used alongside waterbased products, use white spirit for better mixing. Typical dilution: 3% to 10% with water depending on application. Apply with a tack cloth. For veneered bodies, apply light coats and allow to dry between coats to avoid lifting the veneer.
