Introducing a high-quality electric bass kit with a Canadian Maple neck and body crafted from solid Ash wood, paired with a solderless wiring system for effortless assembly.
Bass Build Levels and Challenges
The SR Bass Kit is ideal for beginners thanks to its accessible and forgiving design. The ash body, while porous and requiring at least two coats of grain filler for a smooth finish, is easy to paint due to its simple shape. Assembly is straightforward: the bolt-on neck has no inclination, and the soft mahogany makes pre-drilling and screwing easy. The solderless wiring system simplifies electronics installation, and although the bridge must be positioned manually using scale length measurements, the process remains beginner-friendly. In terms of playability, the high-mass bridge offers full saddle adjustments for both intonation and string height, the nut is easily replaceable for customization, and the absence of neck tilt makes the initial string action setup more intuitive.
