The Boutique V Bass Kit is ideal for beginners thanks to its accessible and user-friendly design. The ash body is quite porous and will require at least two coats of grain filler for a smooth finish, but its shape makes painting straightforward. Assembly is easy, with a bolt-on neck that lacks inclination, simplifying installation. The mahogany is soft, making pre-drilling and screwing effortless. Wiring is made simple with the solderless system, and while the bridge needs to be manually positioned using scale length measurements, the process remains intuitive. Playability adjustments are also beginner-friendly: the high-mass bridge allows full saddle adjustment for intonation and string height, and the nut is easily removable for customization. The flat neck design further simplifies setting up proper string action.
